Some really funny stuff

Providence Journal columnist Froma Harrop is out with a piece that had me laughing quite a bit. Harrop seriously explains that Obama is not a god and we should not expect him to be one. Seriously! The very existence of such an article confirms the inability of liberals like Harrop to perceive reality. Not many people above the age of seven expect Obama to perform divine acts; most people just want some minimal level of competence in dealing with a crisis. Most people have been sorely disappointed on that score. Obama has done nothing productive to deal with the recession. Obama has been unbelievably slow and incompetent in dealing with the oil leak in the Gulf. Obama has done nothing to improve the standing of the USA in the world; his "Apology R Us" plan has just weakened US strength and impact. Obama has done nothing to improve the environment even aside from the terrible response to the oil leak. Obama has not closed Gitmo or decided to keep it open. Obama has still not decided where Khalid Sheik Muhammed and his cohorts are going to be tried. Obama has managed to insult our closest allies like the UK. Obama has done nothing to stop Iran from getting nukes. The list goes on and on. Froma, we all agree that Obama is not divine. That is not the problem. The problem is that we are stuck with another 2 and a half years of gross incompetence.
