I forgot how Idiotic Pelosi is

After last year's elections, Nancy Pelosi disappeared from the scene as Speaker of the House. Even though she stayed on as Minority Leader, she became about as important as last week's leftovers sitting in the back of the refrigerator. The truth is that Pelosi's absence from the public stage is probably doing her some good. After all, people who do not see her in action are likely to forget how much of a moron she truly is. That is why her latest comments about the speech to be given by president Obama tomorrow are revealing once again Pelosi's idiocy.

Republicans announced today that they would not be making a rebuttal speech to Obama's address. Obviously, the GOP does not want to compete with the first game of the NFL season which goes on the air just after the completion of Obama's speech. The GOP spokesman also says that the president's speech will have to rise or fall on its own merits.

Pelosi takes this lack of a rebuttal speech as a major insult to the president. She says it is disrespectful both to Obama and to the American people.

Actually, Pelosi's comments are crazy. Instead of the normal rebuttal speech that points out all the flaws in what Obama is saying, there will only be silence. Pelosi thinks this is an insult? Would it be better to have some senator announcing that Obama's plans make no sense and will not work? Does Pelosi really think that would show respect?

I realize, as do most Americans, that no matter what the GOP does, Pelosi will criticize it. Nevertheless, one would think that she could come up with some criticism that made at least partial sense. Instead, this current complaint can be added to the list of Pelosi's Greatest Hits. Of course, her greatest ever still has to be her pronouncement that Congress had to pass Obamacare to find out what was in it.
