For the 17th and 18th time in the last month, shells or missiles from fighting in Syria fell in Israeli territory yesterday, and there was the usual response: Israel returned the fire. According to reports, the Syrian shells did no damage to structures and cause no casualties. The same reports say that Israel his an artillery piece used by the Assad forces and destroyed it. That too is the usual outcome. The Assad forces have lost a fair amount of arms and men to the Israeli responses, and yet, the shells from Syria keep coming. Can it be that the Assad forces are so inept that they just can't keep their shelling within their own borders? I wonder.
