The Hill is out with a report that the GOP is increasingly optimistic that it will enlarge its majority in the Senate. Basically, The Hill is just telling us about poll results that have come out since the fight over the Kavanaugh confirmation ended.
Normally, it would not be news for a politically oriented site to update us on recent polls. If The Hill is doing it and admitting that things are moving in the GOP's favor, however, it means that things are truly looking grim for the Democrats. After all, The Hill is generally part of the Dems' rooting section in the mainstream media.
