Today, Bret Kavanaugh will be approved by the Senate for a seat on the Supreme Court. The Democrats and their media allies were unable to use their smear machine to beat him. They took him from a respected and upright federal judge and made him into a heavy drinking, angry, rapist, preppy. In many ways, the Kavanaugh confirmation was like the Book of Job. A good, moral man had nearly everything taken from him. But Kavanaugh persevered and made it through the valley of Dems safely.
One would think that this would be the end of it. That, however, is being proven wrong by the media/Dems today. So far this morning, I've seen multiple parts to a new offensive against Judge (soon to be Justice) Kavanaugh. The new story line is that his very presence on the Supreme Court will damage that institution to such an extent that he ought to resign.
Think about that. The Dems and the media have thrown every conceivable lie at the judge. We had the spectacle of a supposedly grounded senator like Feinstein reading into the record the bogus allegations dredged up by the porn lawyer Avenatti that Kavanaugh had run a series of gang rape parties back in high school. The allegations were unbelievable on their face. A college sophomore woman was going to repeated house parties run by high school juniors. She believed that woman at the parties were being drugged and gang raped. She said nothing, but kept going to the parties. Then she, herself was gang raped. Still, she said nothing, but she did keep going to the parties. Even more amazing, not a single one of the many women who were supposedly gang raped said anything. Who would believe that? But it got worse. The woman who came forward gave the names of a bunch of other people who were supposedly able to corroborate her story. None of the did, however. They knew nothing about the parties or the events that the woman claimed had happened. Then it got worse. It turned out that the woman had previously made bogus charges of being sexually abused when she was fired by an employer. She also had made death threats to a former boyfriend after they had broken up. This was not a reliable woman. Yet, even with all this evidence that the story was phony, just ginned up to make another allegation against Kavanaugh, senator Feinstein read it into the record as if it were true. Needless to say, Judge Kavanaugh got angry at this disgusting and dishonest attack. He spoke up. Indeed, had he not spoken up, many people would have wondered why. And now the Dems/media tell us that Kavanaugh really can't sit on the court because he doesn't have a judicial temperament.
I'm tired of all this BS. The Dems/media lost. Just for once they ought to put all their games and tricks back into their "crazy trunk" and try to act like responsible adults. It seems, however, that they just cannot manage that. The reality is that all these Dems are damaging the Senate just by their very presence in that chamber. For the good of the Senate, they should resign.
