For those who thought that the purported aid flotilla was sent to help end need in Gaza, here is proof that such is not the case. The supplies on the flotilla were inspected by Israel after the ships were brought to port and then sent on to Gaza. At the border crossing into Gaza, the Hamas soldiers refused to allow entry into the territory of the "relief supplies". After all, they cannot take the supplies without making clear that Israel was not trying to stop aid but rather was trying to stop weapon smuggling.
