Chemical Warfare in Syria

Today's grim news from Syria is a claim that the Assad regime's forces are using nerve gas against the civilian population under the supervision of Iranian and Russian "experts". The report apeared on an arab news channel, al-Arabiya. Captain Abd al-Salam Ahmed Abdul Razek, a defector from the Assad forces who served in Syrian's chemical warfare administration, claimed that the Syrian military used nerve gas to assist the Assad forces in their raid on the city of Homs.

Who knows if it is true? If it is, then Assad has lost any claim to legitimacy due to war crimes against his people. We will have to wait to see if any further news of this comes out.
