Syria is now in the third day of the "ceasefire" brokered by the Secretary General of the United Nations. The news from the city of Homs is that forces of the Assad regime have resumed shelling civilian areas of the city. Exact numbers of casualties are unknown as of yet, but there are people who have been killed.
Congratulations are due to president Obama who supported this ridiculous UN effort and to the Secretary General himself for the exercise in futility. Maybe in the future we will get to hear about a great agreement with Iran right before the mullahs detonate their first nuke.
