Why are the Libs so Mean Spirited?

By now, most of you must have heard about the attack by the left on Ann Romney. It started with commentator Hillary Rosen of CNN who attack Romney for never having "worked a day in her life". The import of the attack was that Romney could not possibly know what was important to working women since she herself did not work. It was a really mean spirited attack.

Ann Romney has raised five children. That is work. Rosen attacked her for choosing to stay at home with the kids. Millions of women have made the same choice. In Rosen's world, what these women do is, I guess, a life of leisure. It is not work! What a load of crap.

More important, however, is this: Ann Romney has multiple sclerosis. At one point about 12 years ago, it had progressed to such a point that she was confined to bed most days. She struggled against the disease, however, and discovered that by riding horses she was able to get the exercise she needed in a way that helped her recover to her current state. A paid pundit like Rosen knew this long before her attack on Ann Romney. In other words, Rosen was attacking Romney for not "working" when Romney has been struggling for decades with her disease.

Think for a moment what this big mouthed, nasty lib, Ms. Rosen, would say were a Republican to criticize the disabled and sick for not working. Imagine, it would be the Republican War on the Sick or the Republican War on the Crippled. Her jaws would be flapping non-stop with outrage.

The truth is that outrage is the correct response to this attack on Ann Romney. It is outrageous that the libs would go after a candidate's family. Obama himself rightly said that families are off limits; apparently that only means that Republicans should not attack Obama's family but that attacks on the families of Republican candidates are fine. Obama himself better get out there fast and apologize for the attack on Ann Romney. It is outrageous also that the libs would attack someone with multiple sclerosis for not working. I assume Hillary Rosen will next attack Jerry Lewis for spending his life raising money for kids with MS. Even Bill Maher has not attack people for being sick. Congratulations to Ms. Rosen who has reached a new low in political discourse. It is outrageous that Romney is attacked for being a stay at home Mom. In the sick world view of the left, kids are best raised in a day care center and they should come home from elementary school to an empty house. The family model that worked for centuries is now the basis for criticism according to the libs.

I do not understand why liberals have to be so mean spirited. They can attack Mitt Romney all they want; he is a candidate. He expects it and will have to deal with it. His family, however, is not running for office. His wife with her illness is not the proper subject for attack.

I know Hillary Rosen probably considers herself a victim of life. She is a lesbian and has probably heard many comments in her life attacking that life style. She has a weight problem and has probably had to deal with attacks on that basis as well. None of this, however, gives her the right to attack Ann Romney.

I assume that in a few hours or days, when her conduct threatens her career, Rosen will come forward to explain how she was misunderstood. That apology will be BS. Rosen meant exactly what she said. In the hours after the attack, Ann Romney went on Twitter and tweeted for the first time saying: "I made a choice to stay home and raise five boys. Believe me, it was hard work." Rosen almost immediately responded, saying: "I am raising children too. But most young American women HAVE to BOTH earn a living AND raise children. You know that don’t u?"

So when you hear that this obnoxious boor, Ms. Rosen, was misunderstood, remember the truth. Rosen is infected with the nastiness of the left. She is attacking women who stay at home with their kids. She is attacking women with disabling diseases. She is attacking the families of the candidates. In short, CNN ought to fire her and do it fast!

But hey, that's just my opinion.

Jeff,
The citizens of the U.S. & the WORLD are going to experience the most----------
NEGATIVE campaign FOR ALL TIME!
Although I don't like it. The GOP will have to attack the OBAMA administration without mercy.
The difference is-- Will the electorate listen? Are they capable of deciphering the truth?
Time will tell!!
