Over the weekend, I read one article that said that Hillary Clinton was "surging" toward the nomination in 2016. Another article discussed the strategy to be used by Joe Biden in challenging Clinton in 2016. A third article announced that if Hillary runs, then Newt Gingrich will be the Republican nominee (and the author was serious). In view of all of these articles (and many others), I think I should weigh in on the topic of 2016, so here goes:
Hey, it's the 2016 election! It is not for almost four years! Nothing that anyone says now has any chance of being close to correct. There has not been any election in the last forty years where one could tell what the presidential election would bring four years ahead of time.
