Getting a Reid on Corruption?

Remember that $17,000 that senator Harry Reid's campaign gave to his granddaughter for "holiday gifts"?  Well, the amount just went up.  After the payments in 2013 were discovered, reporters looked through the records for 2012 and found that there was another $14,000 of these payments during that year.  Like the records for 2013, the records for the newly discovered payments were listed as going to Ryan Elisabeth rather than Ryan Elisabeth Reid.  Of course, Reid denies that leaving off the last name of his granddaughter was intended to obscure her identity as a member of his family.  And once again, even though Reid claims that the payments were perfectly proper, he immediately said that he would repay the money.

The best part of the story, however, is to watch Reid try to use the victim playbook to divert attention from what he has done.  Reid has now come out with a claim that his granddaughter is being "harassed" and that she is getting "unwanted" attention on the internet.  I would bet she is.  I am sure even a post like this is one that Reid considers unwanted attention for his granddaughter.
