I just read an article from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel under the headline "Why are White Men So Angry?" It was written by James Causey who hit a new low in opinion journalism. Let me explain. Causey wrote about the many responses he received to an earlier column discussing so called stand your ground laws. Causey says he got many pointed and angry responses which led to this latest column. But here's the problem: Causey focuses on the anger of white men, but Causey admits that he is just assuming that the people who emailed him are white. He does not know one way or the other. Nevertheless, Causey is prepared to label an entire racial group without having any evidence to back up his charge.
