Another Dangerous Day -- Possible Terrorism in Connecticut and Actual Attacks on Americans in Yemen

There's two things of major importance today that probably won't get very much coverage.  After all, they don't involve someone insulting a woman's looks over a decade ago or possibly paying taxes in accordance with the law twenty years ago.  They just involve life and death situations for Americans.

First, there was a plane crash near Hartford, Connecticut.  The crash was originally thought to be an accident, but it seems now that it wasn't.  A small plane crashed very close to the Pratt and Whitney aircraft plant near Hartford.  The pilot was killed.  He was a student pilot who was flying with an instructor who miraculously survived the crash.  According to reports, the instructor is telling authorities that the pilot intentionally tried to crash the plane into the aircraft plant.  The student pilot was here from his home in Jordan.  It looks like we have yet another attempt at Islamic terrorism here in the USA.  Had the plane hit the plant a huge number of people could have been killed.

Second, the Houthi rebels in Yemen again fired anti-ship missiles at an American navy destroyer in international waters off the coast of that country.  This is the third time in a week that these missiles have been fired at US navy vessels in that region.  In each event, the missiles were either shot down or evaded by the destroyers.  The Houthi rebels are totally supported by Iran in the fighting in Yemen.  All of the Houthi weaponry, all of their financial support and many of their fighters come from Iran.  There is no way that the Houthi would repeatedly attack the American navy without the approval of the Iranian government.  No one was hurt in these attacks.  Had one of the missiles managed to strike the navy ship, however, there could have been a great many American sailors killed.

There have been no responses by the Obama administration to the Iranian backed attacks on our navy.  There also has been nothing said by the administration about the likely terror attack in Connecticut.

I'm waiting for Hillary Clinton to call the attempt to crash the plane into Pratt and Whitney "flying school violence" rather than Islamic terrorism.  I'm also waiting for her to thank the Iranians for supporting American in connection with the Houthi attacks.  After all, why would she tell the truth when it will be so much easier to just lie.

The lack of any response from the Obama administration is proof why we need a total change in Washington.  Is America supposed to wait for one of our navy ships to be sunk by an Iranian missile before we respond to the attacks?  Are we supposed to wait until the Islamic terrorists hit a factory with a plane and kill hundreds before we do anything.  That is pre-9/11 thinking.  It is extremely dangerous.
