I've watched for decades as the media and the Democrats combine to feed most Americans dishonesty and propaganda rather than news. Think about it for a moment.
In the 1990's Bill Clinton was exposed as a sexual predator. He used his position to take advantage of women who did not have the means to fight back. Those who did were slimed and demeaned and had their reputations and honesty assaulted by Democrats led by Hillary Clinton and a compliant media who said the this stuff was "just sex". Bill Clinton lied under oath, but the perjury was -- you guessed it -- just about sex according to the media. Committing a federal crime didn't matter because they all supported Clinton.
Later in Bill's presidency, he sold pardons to people like Marc Rich, a Wall Street mega-millionaire who could afford the tab for a "get out of jail free" card. It was another federal crime by Bill, but the media just forgot about it. We were told that all presidents issue pardons like those. It wasn't true, but the media didn't care.
Then, when war loomed in Iraq, Hillary proudly told the nation that after reviewing the same intelligence seen by president Bush and secretary Powell, she had concluded that the USA needed to stop Iraq. She voted for the war. When the war became unpopular, Hillary suddenly moved to telling America that she had been lied to by the Bush administration. She saw what they saw, but somehow they "lied" to her. Hillary was now anti-war because most in her party were anti-war and she wanted to be president. The media didn't point out the flaw in her statements; it just pushed the new line.
When Barack Obama got ahead in the race and Hillary was being rejected, Bill Clinton said that "a few years ago, this guy [Obama] would have been carrying our bags." It was a comment that showed Bill's true racism. The media buried it. Fortunately, there was other media to publicize it. Shortly thereafter, the media allegiance switched from Hillary to Obama and the Clintons were no longer able to count on a supportive media.
Hillary got in as secretary of state. Her first big accomplishment, according to her, was the Russian reset. That was a disastrous move that let Russia off the hook for its invasion of Georgia. It told Putin that even after he invaded a neighbor and took territory, the new leadership in Washington would do nothing. The media supported the reset as something good. The reality was something quite different.
Hillary then started pushing for all sorts of free trade deals. Now she suddenly says that the Trans Pacific Partnership is not supportable "in its present form". That's Clintonese for "I won't support it until I'm elected. Then I'll make sure it passes." The media lets her off the hook for that one.
Hillary also fell down on her responsibility to keep America's embassies and consulates safe. The ambassador to Libya asked over and over for more security in Benghazi, but Hillary ignored that. The media reports that urgent appeals for additional security never made their way to Hillary. That seems unbelievable, but the media never asks how she could run an agency and let constant urgent requests for security be ignored.
Hillary came out with the crazy story that the murders in Benghazi resulted from a youtube video. We know from her own email that Hillary was almost instantly aware that the attack had been by terrorists and had nothing to do with the video. Nevertheless, there are still media outlets today that discuss the youtube video.
Hillary lied about her private unsecured email system. The media helped her with those lies. More and more information continues to pour forth showing just how badly Hillary put our national secrets at risk. The mainstream media doesn't even cover those anymore.

Nevertheless, it only came out in October just before the election. This was a planned hit by the media.
It doesn't change what is on the video. I will be the first to agree to that. Nevertheless, it does show the real purpose of the media. They didn't want to come forward with a big story. They wanted to change the outcome for the election. It's disgusting. The dishonesty is just overwhelming.
