After three missile attacks by the Iranian backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen on US navy ships (which were thwarted by the navy), the USA finally shot back at the Houthis. We launched cruise missile attacks on the three radar sites in Yemen which the terrorists used to control the missile attacks. There is no word yet on the results of the US strike. It is being reported, however, that unlike the Houthi anti-ship missiles, the American cruise missiles hit the intended targets.
I don't often say this, but for once president Obama made the right call. America cannot accept having our navy ships attacked in international waters by terrorists. If there are any further attempts to fire on the US navy, we ought to hit back at the Houthis and their backers with a blow that is much larger than what they are attempting. If the Houthis come out of the exchange severely injured, they will think twice about trying this again.
Just think how much better things would be now in Syria if Obama had done something similar when Assad first used illegal chemical weapons.
