Hillary the Hateful

There are many lessons one can get from the various emails and FBI documents released in the last week.  One that should not be overlooked is that Hillary Clinton is a hateful person.  In past elections, voters were sometimes asked which candidate they would rather have a beer with.  For Hillary, the question would be "with which candidate would you rather share a cup of poison?"

Let's be more specific.

1.  We learned that Hillary was so abusive to State Department security officers that those with seniority refused to be on her protection detail.  Normally, it is a great honor to serve on the secretary's protective squad, but the officers with the ability to avoid Hillary did just that.  None of them wanted to have to deal with her tantrums and nastiness and disregard for her security.

2.  By diplomatic custom, the secretary of state is supposed to ride with the US ambassador when she visited a foreign country.  Hillary refused and insisted instead that her girlfriend Huma Abedin accompany her in the limousine alone.  A great many ambassadors were miffed by the diplomatic slight.

3.  Hillary's own campaign people made snarky comments about Hillary's personal qualities.  The list is too long to repeat here.  One favorite moment is the discussion of Hillary's temper tantrum when Bill had to turn down a paid speech to Goldman Sachs a few days before the Iowa caucus.  She just could not stomach the loss of the $300,000 fee.  What a money grubber.

In the past, we heard from the former White House secret service officer that Hillary was hell to be around and that even Bill Clinton feared her.  When that story broke, the Hillary campaign said it was a phony.  Now we get corroboration from a great many other sources.  There's only one conclusion:  as a person, Hillary Clinton is hateful, angry, self-important and disgusting.
