The Craziest Argument Ever For Climate Change

So far this morning, I have read three different articles in which some self-proclaimed climate "expert" tells us that Hurricane Matthew is the product of climate change.  These people don't even realize how they are embarrassing themselves and doing more to disprove climate change than nearly anyone else.  Let's start with the facts:

1.  Matthew is a "major" hurricane which means it is in category three, four or five.
2.  If it comes ashore, Matthew will be the first major hurricane to hit the USA in eleven years.
3.  The period of eleven years without a strike by a major hurricane is the longest such drought on record (which takes us back about 140 years).
4.  The total level of hurricane/typhoon activity around the world has stayed pretty constant during the last century.  The data shows a slightly downward trend, but nothing that is significant.
5.  Fifteen years ago, Al Gore told us that within ten years, global warming would bring a great increase in major storms worldwide.  People along the coasts of America would face devastation from these storms.  Clearly, that never happened.

The hurricane activity of the last two decades go a long way to prove that the hysterical disaster forecasts by the global warming activists were not only wrong, but they bore no relation to reality.  These forecasts of disaster were based upon computer simulations.  When the actual results come out significantly different from the computer simulations (like these do), it proves that the computer models used to make the simulation are wrong.  WRONG!!!

It's crazy for the climate change crowd to trot out their warnings again now that we finally have a major hurricane near the coast of the USA.

The rough equivalent would be this:  suppose your grandmother told you not to go outside without a jacket or you would catch a cold.  Then two weeks later, when you were totally fine, you sneezed in her presence and she said, "See, I told you so."
