Panic Time?

The latest Fox poll is out.  My take on it is that it shows that Democrats are starting to panic over their choices for president.  In Nevada, 12% of the Democrats are now supporting Tom Steyer.  That's one voter out of eight.  It still puts Steyer in third place, but it's an amazingly high result for the billionaire.

Maybe it's just my own prejudices, but I can't believe that any thinking being would support Steyer for president if there were any other decent choice.  The problem is that that the Dems are stuck picking between old and corrupt Joe Biden, old and angry Bernie Sanders, old and dishonest Elizabeth Warren, and young and completely inexperienced Pete Buttigieg.  Still, picking Steyer is a move of pure despair.

There's one rather funny note to add about Steyer.  His commercials always talk about how it's time to start doing things rather than just talking about them.  Steyer, of course, is someone whose essence has been talking about things.  He's never accomplished anything political.  Indeed, all of the Democrat candidates talk and talk and never do anything.  The only one who consistently accomplishes things is President Trump.  For Democrats, the biggest criticisms of Trump seem more focused on what he says and how he says it rather than on what he actually accomplishes.
