It's not often that you see as good an example of CNN's total anti-Trump bias as that found in an article today discussing how governors and mayors rather than the President hold the power when it comes to reopening the country.
The article explains that Trump is supposedly powerless in the face of opposition by governors to reopening their states. We can argue if this is correct but that's not the point. Rather, the key point is that CNN's article then goes on to state that Trump's idea of possibly piecemeal opening of the country is unworkable. CNN states that it would be a terrible idea to have some areas opening before others. There has to be a uniform national policy on opening according to CNN or it just won't work. CNN even quotes some governors and mayors who say this.
Think about it. In the same piece CNN says Trump has no power to set nationwide rules for reopening the economy; it has to take place state by state. Then CNN says that there must be nationwide rules for reopening the economy; state by state or region by region just won't work. In other words, according to CNN, no matter what Trump does or doesn't do, he will be wrong.
