Another Beautiful Day in the Islamic State

The New York Post is reporting this morning that (1) ISIS fighters in Ayn al Arab have beheaded over 100 of the Kurdish civilians as well as fighters defending the Syrian city from capture and (2) ISIS used chemical weapons captured from old stockpiles of chemical weapons from the Saddam Hussein era against the defenders of Ayn al Arab.

There is nothing quite like watching genocidal maniacs murder people in barbaric ways while knowing that there really is nothing that one can do about it.  I have been writing about the death of the innocents in Syria for the last three years.  First it was Assad who was murdering his countrymen.  Indeed, this whole mess began when Assad's response to peaceful street protests by the Syrian people was to station snipers on rooftops to randomly shoot into the crowds in an effort to terrorize the demonstrators into giving up.  After Assad managed to turn the protests into a full scale civil war, the next wave of killers were the al Nusra front, an al Qaeda offshoot in Syria that used car bombs and suicide bombers to attack the Assad forces and Alawaite civilians.  Not to be outdone in murder, Assad responded with chemical weapons and barrel bombs that indiscriminately killed civilians in the Sunni areas.  Then ISIS appeared on the scene and brought horror and barbarian behavior to new heights (or more accurately, to new lows).

Through all this murder and mayhem, the rest of the world has done next to nothing.  That is still the case.  For three years, there was absolutely nothing done while over 200,000 were killed and over two million fled as refugees.  To be clear, over 90% of the dead were civilians.  That is 180,000 or more civilian dead with no discernible international response.  Even worse, these civilians died in attacks that were clearly targeted at them and not at the soldiers.  Car bombs in markets do kill civilians, not soldiers.  Sarin attacks in towns kill civilians by the thousands.  Nevertheless, nothing was done.

It took the video taped beheading of two Americans posted on the internet by ISIS to finally bring a reaction from president Obama.  Even so, that reaction has been mostly a public relations response.  The American air force, by far the strongest air power in the world, has managed in two months to carry out just a few air strikes against ISIS.  The USA could have launched one hundred times more strikes against the barbaric terrorists with ease, all while keeping away from the dreaded boots on the ground.  Obama, however, has chosen instead to have symbolic raids rather than air strikes designed to actually help those under attack by ISIS.

The current policy put in place by Obama is dishonest and disgusting.  If we have no intention of really helping those under attack, then we should just say so.

OBAMA---President of Fund Raising for Democrats, No way Commander in Chief, Does not really care about U.S. Citizens. Cares about furthering HIS Liberal agenda to ALLOW MOSLEM Control of The World. Sad Day to call this man President of USA
