Worth Repeating

Here are a key few sentences by Shoshana Bryen of the American Thinker that are worth repeating:

Pentagon spokesman Adm. John Kirby told reporters he understood that U.S. air power wouldn't save Kobani, but that there is a "larger strategy" in place.  The primary goal of the campaign is not to save Syrian cities and towns, U.S. Central Command officials said, but to go after ISIS senior leadership, oil refineries, and other infrastructure that would curb the group's ability to operate.  If the strategy is to allow ISIS to advance its murderous agenda against Kurds and others while we "plink" its leaders from above, it is a humanitarian, military, and political disaster of a strategy.

Think about US policy.  On most days and in most place, American policy is to avoid attacks that cause civilian casualties.  Nevertheless, the Obama administration also appears to be following a policy that allows maximum civilian casualties so long as those doing the killing come from ISIS.  Can we really be following such a schizophrenic policy?  We don't try to minimize civilian casualties, only those who might be killed by Americans?

If I were a Kurd, I would be horrified.  Actually, I am not a Kurd and I am still horrified.  It is a disgrace.
