The Lack Of Competence and Honesty -- This Time It's a Killer

We all know that the administration of president Obama is neither competent nor honest, but tonight came news of a new and terrifying low.  We learned that the latest nurse diagnosed with Ebola realized on Monday that she was running a fever when she was in Cleveland and scheduled to board a plane to return to Dallas.  The nurse quite properly and responsibly called the CDC and told them that she had been on the team that had cared for the first Ebola patient and that she was now running a low fever.  She explicitly asked if she ought to go to the airport and board the plane or if she should go to a hospital in Ohio for testing.  The CDC told her she was fine to fly, so she did.  By the next morning, her temperature had soared and she was diagnosed with full fledged Ebola in Dallas.

Think about this.  The CDC is the government's main defense against Ebola.  It is the agency that is supposed to know how to deal with this dreaded disease, but it does not.

This afternoon, we were told by the CDC personnel that the nurse had violated the CDC protocols by traveling by commercial airplane.  It was her fault, you see.  The nurse did not follow instructions.  No one knew for sure if anyone had told the nurse about restrictions on flying, but the CDC and its leader Dr. Friedan did not take any responsibility for the lack of instruction.

Now, this has all unraveled.  We hear that the CDC gave express permission for the nurse to fly.  Either the folks as the CDC don't know their own protocols or they are lying about just what those protocols are.  Over 100 passengers on the Frontier Airlines jet have been put at risk of catching Ebola because the Obama CDC is either incompetent or dishonest or both.

There have been many instances of incompetence by Obama and his people.  Normally, the incompetence just disrupts lives and businesses and costs heaps of money.  In a few instances (like when Hillary Clinton denied any additional security for the Benghazi consulate), people have died due to that incompetence.  Never before, however, has the lack of competence by the Obamacrats placed the lives of so many people in jeopardy.

I still cannot believe just how bad this is.
