In North Dakota, arrest warrants have been filed for Jill Stein the presidential candidate of the Green Party. The charge is criminal trespass. Stein illegally entered the storage yard of the construction company building a pipeline across the state and vandalized some of the equipment. There is video of Stein spray painting some of the equipment. Stein's actions in entering private property and committing vandalism is a misdemeanor under North Dakota law. In a curious twist, the vice presidential candidate went with her and also committed vandalism. There's a warrant out for his arrest too.
In a related story, the FBI Director said that the Bureau had looked into Stein's actions and found that there was no proof that she had the requisite intent. He recommended no federal prosecution and Attorney General Loretta Lynch immediately agreed.
Okay, so the second paragraph is a joke, but the first one isn't. Stein and her running mate are really wanted by the police in North Dakota.
What will happen next? Will Libertarian Gary Johnson get arrested for transporting selling pot?
