The New York Post is out with a report that I find shocking. According to the Post, after Hillary Clinton collapsed at the 9-11 memorial yesterday, the protocol called for her to be taken immediately to a level one trauma center. In this case, she should have gone to Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan. Clinton's staff, however, overruled the protocol and had Hillary taken to daughter Chelsea's apartment. The staff did not want doctors or nurses to leak details about Clinton's condition or treatment so they made the switch.
This is beyond outrageous. Political staffers may think they know everything, but they are not doctors. Nor were there doctors at Chelsea's apartment to treat Hillary. And if there were a major emergency, Hillary could have died because the campaign wanted to keep her condition a secret.
The truth is that what happened is so outrageous and so far beyond the bounds of proper conduct, that I wonder whether Hillary's only malady is pneumonia or if that is just a cover story. I mean they told us a few hours later that Hillary has pneumonia. That couldn't be worth risking Hillary's life. The only thing that makes sense is that she has some medical problem which would clearly disqualify her from being president. That is a secret that might be worth taking a major risk to keep private.
I know I feel like it's crazy to even speculate about this. Still, given the conduct of the campaign and the general lack of honesty and openness for which the Clintons are known, it has to be considered. It seems that there may well be more to this story.
