And The UN Says What??????

Earlier this week, a Palestinian drove his truck into a crowd of Israelis in Jerusalem killing many ad injuring many more.  The Palestinian was shot and killed as he tried to hit more people.

So what is the response of the Palestinian Authority.  You remember the Palestinian Authority, that the quasi government of the areas of the West Bank that are under Palestinian control.  It is headed by president Abbas who is in the tenth year of his four year term.  It is the "moderate partner for peace" of whom president Obama and secretary Kerry speak when they call for Israel to enter into more negotiations.  Here's that response:  the terrorist who mowed down innocent Israelis with the truck has been declared a "martyr" and his family has gotten paid by the Palestinian Authority for his "heroics".  His widow will gets a $1,500 bounty, followed by $760 a month for life.

Obviously, the Palestinian Authority is not moderate.  It is not a partner for peace.  It is not even interested in peace.  And let's not forget that it also refuses to negotiate.

But let's move away from the Palestinian Authority and to the United Nations.  Just a few weeks back, Obama engineered a resolution in the Security Council that labeled Israelis who live in apartments in the Jewish Quarter of the old city of Jerusalem (where Jews lived for many centuries) as possible war criminals.  What has the Security Council said about the terror attack that killed Israelis?  The answer, of course, is not a single word.
