They Still Don't Understand

McClatchy is reporting that two Democrat members of Congress are planning to boycott the inauguration because of some comments that President Elect Donald Trump made during the campaign.  They really still don't understand.

We went through an election.  That election really boiled down to just a few things:

1. Donald Trump said a lot of wrong things.
2.  Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, rarely said the wrong thing.
3.  Trump accomplished a lot of good things during his life.
4.  Hillary accomplished next to nothing herself during her life.
5.  Trump promised voters that he would do good things and convinced voters that he would keep his promises.
6.  Hillary promised only that she wasn't Trump.  She had no clear plans and voters didn't believe her anyway.

The point is that the American people are more interested in seeing accomplishments from politicians than hearing words.  The old saying that actions speak louder than words is actually true, especially in politics.

So, let's go back to the two foolish Democrat congressmen who are going to boycott because of what Trump said months back.  They are still focused on words rather than deeds.  As president Obama might say, "they are on the wrong side of reality."
