Here's today's biggest news, and there's hardly any coverage of it in the mainstream media: the FBI never bothered to examine or even have access to the computers at the Democrat National Committee offices before blaming the Russians for the hack of those computers.
Here's the key quote from the article in the New York Post on the subject:
“The DNC had several meetings with representatives of the FBI’s Cyber Division and its Washington (DC) Field Office, the Department of Justice’s National Security Division, and U.S. Attorney’s Offices, and it responded to a variety of requests for cooperation, but the FBI never requested access to the DNC’s computer servers,” DNC deputy communications director Eric Walker said.
Think about that. The FBI is investigating a crime, but doesn't bother to go to the "crime scene" and examine the evidence. Apparently, the FBI relied on what the DNC contractors told them. Imagine that there were a murder and the police decided not to examine the scene to look for clues but to instead rely on an interested party to determine who did it. It's incomprehensible.
What kind of nonsense is this?
