The Assad forces in Syria claim that Israeli planes bombed and destroyed a site near the city of Homa. According to the Syrians, the site bombed was a development center for missiles and chemical weapons. Supposedly, two Syrian soldiers were killed in the attack. For its part, Israel refuses to comment on the attack; that is standard Israeli policy in a situation like this.
Let's assume for now that the IAF did in fact level a Syrian chemical weapons plant that also produces missiles. That sounds like a really good thing to me. Syria is not supposed to have chemical weapons, but we all know that isn't true. So, in essence, the Syrians are saying that the Israelis used their air force to bomb a facility that really isn't there.
