Here's a list to consider
1. Bernie Sanders
2. Joe Biden
3. Senator Chris Murphy of CT
4. Elizabeth Warren
5. California Governor Jerry Brown
6. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of NY
7. Senator Kamala Harris of CA
8. Senator Cory Booker of NJ
9. Governor Andrew Cuomo of NY
10. Senator Sherrod Brown of OH
11. Oprah and other celebrities
12. Deval Patrick who was once governor of MA
13. Senator Tim Kaine of VA
14. LA mayor Garcetti
15. Mark Zuckerberg from Facebook
According to the Washington Post, these are the top contenders for the Democrat nomination in 2020 ranked in current order of likelihood of winning that contest. I'm not kidding. Other than Chris Murphy (unbelievable!) the top five seem more likely to be living in assisted living in 2020 than running for president, but the Post says they are the front runners (or should I say front walkers?).
On top of this the top four non-ancient candidates listed are senators Murphy from my state, Gillibrand, Harris and Booker. That too is amazing. Murphy is one I know well. He is someone who is not a slave to the truth. He is prepared to say anything despite the facts, so maybe he is a good candidate for the Dems. Gillibrand has already announced that she won't be running in 2020, but they still put her at sixth place. Harris has been in the senate for half a year and Booker is an empty suit. Once America gets to know either of them, they will fade quickly. I'm not going to waste my time even talking about the last six; they have no more chance of winning than my dog.
What all this proves is something that the Democrats had better keep in mind: they have no candidate to face President Trump. If even the WaPo can't find someone credible among the Democrats, they really are in a bad place.
