ISIS is in the desert in Syria, and Hezbollah is concerned about it. The ISIS group in question consists of ISIS terrorists who surrendered to Assad/Iran/Hezbollah in the land along the Lebanon/Syria border. The ISIS thugs were promised safe passage to another area held by ISIS near the border with Iraq. The transfer of the 400 or so ISIS terrorists would have meant that these people would be available to fight the forces in Syria allied with the USA which are currently focused on taking back Raqqa from ISIS. Clearly, the Assad/Hezbollah/Iranian forces do not care about wiping out ISIS, but rather about using ISIS forces to attack those non-Assad-supporting Syrians who are allied with the USA.
I previously wrote about how the coalition forces bombed the road in front and behind the convoy carrying most of these ISIS terrorists when they were in the middle of the desert in southern Syria. As a result, the ISIS force is stranded in the middle of that desert. The USA and its coalition partners were not about to let ISIS send reinforcements to their sector even if Assad and his allies wanted it.
Now, Hezbollah is complaining that the attack on the ISIS convoy is actually directed at women and children. Really! There are twelve buses or so holding most of the ISIS terrorists, but Hezbollah says they are actually filled with women and children and, oh, some old people too. It's a total lie, but the media is dutifully printing the phony claim. The truth is that what truly upsets Hezbollah is learning that the USA and its allies will no longer tolerate deals with ISIS that allows that group to survive. That means that the other ISIS forces facing Assad-related troops will no longer accept a result that lets Assad and his cronies move the ISIS troops to another theater.
