I was looking at Real Clear Defense today and I happened upon an article under this headline:
Trump Policies Not Impeding U.S. Defense Sales Overseas
Think about that for a moment. In the last eight months, President Trump has made a series of deals in which American arms have been sold to allies. Just in the past week, the quantity of arms to be sold to both South Korea and Japan was nearly doubled. These are enormous purchases. Then there were the deals announced in Saudi Arabia during the President's trip there last Spring. The figure used at the time was $110 billion, but that may vary before the deals are concluded. It's not worth the time to go down the entire list, but it certainly is safe to say that President Trump has been very effective selling American arms to our allies and friends. The media couldn't say that, though, could they? Instead, they say that President Trump is "not impeding" arms sales by the USA.
It's all such BS from the media. Can you imagine a headline in 2009 that said Barack Obama did not impede an African American from becoming president? Maybe there could be a headline saying al Qaeda did not impede the 9-11 attacks in the USA.
