Here's some good news from Syria. The convoy of ISIS fighters on its way to join with other ISIS forces near Iraq remains pinned down in the middle of the Syrian desert. American and coalition air power first stopped the convoy of buses carrying the ISIS terrorists who were give safe passage by the Assad regime. The Assad forces were hoping to get the ISIS fighters out of their territory and move them instead to fight the forces with which the USA is aligned. Now that the convoy has been stopped, there have been a number of attempts by ISIS to send help to get those who are trapped. American planes have destroyed all those making that attempt. Further, ISIS fighters who left the buses to scout the area were also picked off from the air. The entire convoy could be destroyed, but the ISIS forces are traveling with women and children, so the US airplanes are not making any direct attacks on that convoy.
According to coalition forces, nearly 100 ISIS fighters have already been killed in connection with this convoy. That is truly good news.
