Most American eyes will be focused on Florida this weekend as Hurricane Irma makes its expected landfall there. Another path to devastation will likely also take place in North Korea where it is expected the regime will conduct yet another weapons test to mark a major national anniversary.
Will this be the time for American action against the NK's? Most likely not. Nevertheless, we are fast approaching the point of no return. The USA either acts very soon, or it faces a North Korea armed with nuclear tipped ICBMs capable of hitting major American cities. Once that happens, every other anti-American state (like Iran) will copy what the NK's did, and the world will become even more dangerous.
My vote would be for action, but fortunately, I don't have to make that decision. It's up to the President. Let's hope he makes the right choice.
