CBS now

Earlier today, I wrote abouthow the AP slanted its coverage of the polling results regarding Nancy Pelosi. Then, just about an hour ago, I hear CBS radio do something very similar. The story was about the man who stabbed nine people in three states with "no apparent motive" who was caught trying to flee the country. According to CBS, the man was identified as an "Israeli citizen". Obviously, this indicates to most Americans that he was Jewish and that this was not organized terrorism. Cbs described how he came from a small community on the edge of the Tel Aviv metropolitan area.

Of course, what CBS failed to disclose is that the man arrested is an Arab. Once that identification is made, the fact that he stabbed 9 people in unrelated fashion in three states makes it sound a lot more like it could be a terrorist attack. CBS does not want to report a terrorist attack. That would look bad for Obama and the Department of Homeland Security. It appears that CBS's policy must be that problems and emergencies are only reported if they fit into the political views of the stations editors. Terrorism or even potential terrorism does not make the cut 9unless it were domestic right wing terrorism about which we are consistently warned even though we have not seen it for a decade.)

It truly disgusts me to see the news so perverted. Doesn't CBS care about the truth?
