More Joy in the Summer of Recovery

It seems to me that so called Summer of Recovery touted by Obama and the Obamacrats is much akin to the Bush "Mission Accomplished" banner. This morning we got another kick in the pants when new jobless claims jumped to their highest level in many months. Even the four week average jumped by nearly 15,000 people. Clearly, the economy is stalling and Obama's policies have proven to be losers. Despite this, Obama and the Obamacrats are pushing for more of the same. Thus, we just had the new 26 billion appropriated for paying for state and local employees so that they will not face pay or benefit cuts. It does not matter that these employees make more than comparable workers in the private sector or that their beneifts are much higher. The Obamacrats have to pay off their union supporters and the public employee unions are the biggest ones of all. I think we can call this something else besides the summer of recovery. How about the "summer of stagnation and payoffs"?
