Acording to a report in the German magazine Der Spiegel, there has now been confirmation that the Turks used chemical weapons last year against Kurdish separatists. Samples from the bodies of nine of the dead Kurds were examined in Hamburg and found to contain evidence of chemical poisoning as the cause of death.
The use of chemical weapons has been outlawed for many years. Turkey is a signatory to the treaty that bans their use. Apparently, the Turks do not care about the agreements that they have signed.
