National Review Online has an article today pointing out the as a state senator in 2004, president Obama voted for and co-sponsored a bill to strengthen the Illinois version of the Stand Your Ground law. This is, of course, the same Obama who just gave a speech about the evils of the Stand Your Ground laws. It is just another example of Obama's bedrock principles. His main principle is to do what is good politically for Barack Obama. It does not matter whether or not something is a good policy, just if it is good politics.
