Obama's Fingerprints Show Up on the IRS Scandals

There is big news out on the IRS scandals which puts president Obama right into the middle of the mess.  It seems that just two days before issuing the directives that caused the persecution of Tea Party and conservative groups and individuals by the IRS, the general counsel of that agency came to the White House to meet with Obama himself.  Here, in part, is how the Daily Caller reports this news:

The Obama appointee implicated in congressional testimony in the IRS targeting scandal met with President Obama in the White House two days before offering his colleagues a new set of advice on how to scrutinize tea party and conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status.
IRS chief counsel William Wilkins, who was named in House Oversight testimony by retiring IRS agent Carter Hull as one of his supervisors in the improper targeting of conservative groups, met with Obama in the Roosevelt Room of the White House on April 23, 2012. ...On April 25, 2012, Wilkins’ office sent the exempt organizations determinations unit “additional comments on the draft guidance” for approving or denying tea party tax-exempt applications, according to the IRS inspector general’s report.

A meeting between the chief counsel of the IRS and the president of the United States is a very, very rare event.  A meeting followed by a directive that has the IRS go into full attack mode against the enemies of the president is no coincidence.  The only reasonable conclusion to draw from this series of events is that Obama himself was involved in what the IRS did.

Unless they prosecute Wilkins to the full extent of the law for HIS criminal acts, the Obama connection will never surface.
On the other hand, If they have insurmountable proof/evidences against Wilkins, It may be possible to offer him immunity for His Testimony Against Obama.
OH, The Glory of the word IMPEACHMENT!!!!

As much as I would like to link Obama to the IRS scandal, apparently there were 13 people in the meeting, not actually in Obama's office. Not exactly a private meeting.

Reply to Don Giles:

A meeting by the IRS chief counsel in the Roosevelt Room in the White House with Obama is very unusual. It does not matter whether or not there were 3 or 13 people there. What matters is that Obama himself was there. It doesn't have to be just the two of them.

Agreed.
