The ratings for the cable news channels covering the jury verdict in the Zimmerman trial last Saturday night are in. First place went to Fox News, but CNN led in the demographic. Headline News came in third and MSNBC came in way last. MSNBC was so far behind that Fox beat them by more than a 3 to 1 margin.
MSNBC had been covering the trial almost nonstop from the beginning, so the lack of viewers for the verdict is clearly a rejection of the "reporting" that had been coming from that network. The ratings for MSNBC have gotten so poor that Comcast is thinking about adopting a new ad campaign under the tag line Mostly Seems No Body Cares.
