Another Messy Day for Hillary

There's big news on two fronts for Hillary Clinton today and neither item is good for her.

First, in a lengthy piece, Scripps News disclosed that the Clinton Foundation and its subsidiaries have violated New York law by failing to disclose the identities of foreign governments and organizations that made contributions.  Federal law allows just the total to be listed in annual reports filed with the IRS.  New York, however, requires an itemization of the money coming from foreign sources.  The Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Health Initiative and the other related entities never disclosed any of the names of foreign contributors.  Even though these names were all omitted, the New York Attorney General never even asked the foundation to file supplemental data.  The NY Attorney General certainly never started a criminal investigation for this clear violation of the law.  It should be no surprise that NY Attorney General Schneiderman is on the leadership committee for Hillary's presidential campaign.  There's even more here though.  The Scripps piece compares the total of foreign contributions reported by the Clinton Foundation to the federal government and the total reported to New York State.  The federal filings have more than $200 million more in total than the NY ones for the same entities during the same time.  Is it a coincidence that a fifth of a billion dollars of contributions just happen to be missing on the filing that goes to the government that requires identification of the contributors?

It's worth noting that the Scripps article comes from the mainstream media.  In other words, this violation by the Clinton Foundation is so serious that even the mainstream media has been forced to take notice and report it.

Second, we learned that during Hillary's first testimony before a Senate committee about Benghazi, the Clinton team arranged ahead of time to get the questions that they wanted from the committee members.  It's not uncommon for the members of the witnesses party to try to be helpful during testimony.  It's wholly another thing for the witness to give questions to senators to ask like puppets during the testimony.  All of this is confirmed by some of those new emails just released.  It seems as if Hillary's people decided that efforts to control the questions asked to the Secretary of State by a senate committee are not "work related".  The truth is that these emails just how dishonest the Clintons were in turning over emails to the State Department.  Another day, another Clinton lie.
