The House "sit-in" by a bunch of Democrats continued tonight. The Democrats managed to prevent the House from voting on the bill to fund research and treatment for the Zika virus. It needs to be voted on in order to avoid having to shut down the government's efforts in fighting this disease.
When you watch the laudatory coverage of the sit-in from the mainstream media, just imagine how it would be covered if Republicans were preventing the House from voting on the funding of Zika treatment and research.
Clearly, these Democrats just do not care about the babies who will be born with birth defects due to the Zika virus or the families which will suffer as a result. They are being totally heartless.
