CNN is stridently pro-Democrat. It supports Obama. It supports Clinton. It constantly criticizes Trump. That's why today's report on Libya and the Obama strategy for dealing with ISIS is so important. Here's the opening of the CNN report on the subject:
In remarkably blunt testimony, President Barack Obama's nominee to command U.S. forces in Africa said Tuesday that more ground troops were needed in Libya to fight ISIS and agreed the current strategy of not bombing the terror group's affiliate there "makes no sense."

When asked by the committee's chairman, Sen. John McCain, an Arizona Republican, whether the U.S. had a strategy for Libya, Marine Lt. Gen. Thomas Waldhauser said he didn't know about one.
So the general who Obama chose to lead US forces in Africa doesn't know of any overall US strategy for Libya and thinks our air strategy regarding ISIS makes no sense.
At least he didn't talk about gun control.
It's hard to imagine a more damning report. The Obama/Clinton policy is just chaos and more chaos with a few terrorist attacks thrown in.
