Joy Behar is the loud woman who is about to get her own show on Current TV. She had her own show on Headline News, but it was cancelled for poor ratings. By the way, being cancelled on HLN for poor ratings is like being barred from the Vatican for being too Catholic. Everyone except Nancy Grace on HLN has poor ratings. In any event, Behar is now trying to become Bill Maher with long hair. She always had the political, but not very funny jokes. Now she is going for the truly offensive. Here is what she said yesterday in an interview when she was asked about Mitt Romney's position that we do not need more government employees as president Obama claims.
BEHAR: I mean, I’d like to see his house burn, one of his millions of houses burning down. Who's he going to call, the Mormon fire patrol?
It is fine for Behar to disagree with Romney. She can root for making everyone a government employee; that is her right. On the other hand, it is unforgiveable for her to start with Mormon bashing. It is all part of the Democrats' War on Mormons. It is part of the inherent bigotry of the left. Behar disagrees with Romney so she has to attack him for his religion. She can't just deal with the ideas; she has to add the bigoted attack.
For decades now, I have watched the Democrats attack Republicans as racists, homophobes, and all other sorts of bigots. We would all benefit if the left would just look in the mirror.
