More news is out today about the helpful leaks of classified information that were published in the New York Times as part of the Obama re-election campaign. The Chairman of the relevant Senate Intelligence committee, a Democrat, is also now calling for the appointment of a special prosecutor. Admittedly, the Democrat in question is Joe Lieberman who is not exactly a favorite among rank and file Democrats, but nevertheless he is still calling for a special prosecutor. Lieberman says that the appointment of two of Eric Holder's people to investigate does not go far enough. Of course not, since the investigation that these two will conduct will be about as unbiased as a hate crime. It is just smoke and mirrors designed to hide the actual despicable conduct by the Obamacrats.
I doubt that a special prosecutor will be appointed. After all, it might interfere with the re-election campaign. If Obama is willing to ignore the Constitution to get re-elected as he has done with immigration and the Defense of Marriage Act, the something as minor as committing treason by intentionally leaking national secrets for political gains is unlikely to intrude upon his consciousness.
