For years, Burger King was known as the Home of the Whopper. Given president Obama's continuing difficulties with the truth, maybe that name now belongs to the White House. Here is another whopper of a lie told this morning by Obama at his press conference. President Obama denied that his administration was the source of the leaks showing the US was behind cyber attacks on the Iranian nuclear program. "The notion that my White House would purposely release classified national security information is offensive. It's wrong," Obama said. Really?
In order to understand just how phony Obama's statement is, you need to first read the article in the New York Times that contained the detailed history of American involvement with the Stuxnet virus and the cyber war against Iran. My favorite part of the article concerns a meeting at which only five people were present: Obama, vice president Biden, Leon Panetta then director of the CIA, Michael Morell the deputy director of the CIA, and general Cartwright who was the vice chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff. Not only does the article contain a detailed description of the meeting, but it also quotes directly what Joe Biden said at the time.
Think about that. Five extremely high ranking administration officials attend a top secret meeting, the New York Times writes about it in detail, but according to Obama it is "offensive" to suggest that his administration leaked what had happened at that meeting. What a liar. There are no other possible sources.
These leaks are not casual problems. Iran now has full information just how the entire program was done. By now, it is safe to say that anyone at the Iranian plants who helped the CIA must be under arrest. Indeed, even those folks who were duped by the CIA must be awaiting execution. Obama has thrown the entire program away just to help his re-election chances. He has endangered all sorts of folks, but why value their lives when his election is at stake?
Obama has got to go!
