Hugo Chavez announced today that Venezuela has developed and is building drones. Supposedly, Russia, China, Iran and other friends helped the Venezuelans design the aircraft. The drones are supposed to be unarmed and only for surveilance. Apparently, Chavez built the drones in an effort to reduce unemployment which is rampant in Venezuela. It does not take many workers to build the drone, but it requires five full time employees just to wind the rubber band that powers the drone.
