It has been an interesting day in the annals of "Liars of the Left". First came MSNBC, which never seems to present any story without a leftist slant, editing a speech by Mitt Romney to make it look like he was amazed by a computer screen used to order sandwiches at Wawa, a convenience store chain headquartered in Pennsylvania. Andrea Mitchell, who used to be a serious reporter, was there on the screen chucking about how out of touch Romney was. Of course, almost immediately the actual video of the full minute of the speech was released by a different source. That shows Romney talking about the genius of the private sector arising from competition and the waste of the government coming from a lack of competition. Romney then contrasts the government which required a 33 page form to be filled out by an Optometrist in order to change his mailing address with the modification taking 3 months to accomplish against the sandwich ordering line at Wawa where a person notes his order on othe computer, goes to pay and gets his sandwich almost at once. In other words, Romney is celebrating the efficiency of the private sector. It is Mitchell and MSNBC who are clueless, not Romney. Interestingly, since MSNBC so clearly edited the video to convey a false impression, Mitchell said that it was only done because they did not have time for the full clip. This is the same NBC that edited the 911 tape for George Zimmerman to make him look racist when the actual words showed no hint of racism. Shame on these liars.
Next comes Donna Brazile. Brazile is a CNN contributor who is also a "Democrat strategist" and who was high up in the 2000 Gore campaign. It is no wonder that Gore lost. Brazile is out with a piece in which she explains that Romney's plan for the economy is to take money from the middle class and give it to the rich. You cannot make this stuff up. Brazile actually says this. She too should be ashamed.
