CNBC is running a big article stating that colleges are considering tuition freezes for next school year. How many colleges rebated tuition for all the lost classes from the Spring semester? How many even gave back the amounts paid for school residences like dorms or the cost of dining contracts? The truth is that tuition should be cut, college staff, especially professors and the ubiquitous administration should have their salaries cut, and endowments should be tapped to cover the cost. Everyone is hurting. It’s silly for colleges to talk about freezes
