Scandalpalooza -- or -- what will come out next?

Just think about the accelerating scandals of the last year.

First, we learned that the federal government under president Obama denied repeated requests for additional security from our embassy in Libya and took no steps for improved safety even on the anniversary of 9-11.

Then we learned that the Obamacrats did nothing when the American consulate in Benghazi was attacked and that Washington actually ordered American forces NOT to respond to calls from Benghazi seeking help.

That was followed by Obama and his minions telling lies to the American people about why and how the ambassador and three others were killed in Benghazi.

After that, we learned that the IRS was out of control.  It persecuted conservative groups that had filed for tax exemptions.  It gave confidential tax return information on conservatives to the leftist site Pro Publica.  It even furnished secret IRS information to the co-chair of the Obama campaign and sat back as that information was used to smear Mitt Romney and his supporters.  The IRS also attacked Jewish groups supporting Israel, Christian groups like the Billy Graham Ministry, and pro-life groups.  In each case, the actions by the IRS were illegal.

The Obamacrats responded that all of the wrongdoing at the IRS was just the work of two rogue agents in Cincinnati.  But then we learned that scores of agents were involved and we now know that the direction for all of this came from Washington.  Another lie from the Obamacrats bit the dust.

Meanwhile, we heard that the Department of Justice had secretly gotten months of phone records on huge numbers of phones of the Associated Press.

Before the surprise of that one wore off, we learned that the Department of Justice had also gotten copies of email, phone records and other data of Fox News reporter James Rosen, his parents, his employers at FNC and others.  In documents approved by the Attorney General himself, the DOJ told a federal court under oath that Rosen was a co-conspirator or an accessory to the crime of espionage and that he had potential criminal liability and was a flight risk.

Just the week before these court documents on Rosen surfaced, the Attorney General told Congress under oath that he had never heard of any potential prosecution of any reporter for doing his job.  In other words, Eric Holder either lied to Congress or he approved the submission of false affidavits to a federal court.

Then, this morning we learned that essentially every phone record in the USA has been collected by the government for years.  The extent of this secret data gathering operation was unimaginable and astounding for exactly ten hours.  After that, we learned that the Obama government has also been gathering all sorts of internet information like email, photographs, video, audio and documents.  This secret gathering of information dwarfs the phone records about which we just heard this morning.

All of these activities are filled with violations of the Constitution and laws of the United States.

Things seem to get worse by the minute.  It made me wonder what we will find next coming from Washington.  It will be hard to top the disasters for freedom and liberty that I just listed.  Here is what is likely coming next:

1.  We will learn that the federal government has begun to sell heroin and cocaine that was seized in drug raids and will use the proceeds to fund the implementation of Obamacare.

2.  We will hear that Washington has been ordering hits on potential political opponents of Obama.

3.  We will learn that Obama authorized the sale of a few nuclear devices to Iran in exchange fo ten billion dollars.  That money will go half to a fund to pay for all future Obama golfing vacations and the other half for additional IRS agents to audit the returns of tax payers making over $250,000 per year.
