According to the Daily Caller, there is now a group organizing a massive protest in Philadelphia during the Democrat National Convention. The group is called Occupy DNC and it has pledges from more than 20,000 people to attend and protest against the nomination of Hillary Clinton. The group supports Bernie Sanders. It already got a permit to hold a four day demonstration in the park opposite the arena where the convention is being held.
The truth is that this group is just one more manifestation of the anger felt by ordinary Americans at the rigged nature of the Democrats' nominating rules. If there's already 20,000 people promising to come to the protest, there could easily be 50,000 people there by the time the convention actually rolls around. If that is the case, those demonstrators will be heard inside the convention hall as well as outside. Delegates will have to worry that the demonstration will turn violent if Bernie is pushed to the side and ignored.
It's hard to imagine anything worse for the Democrats than this. Sure, there may be demonstrations in Cleveland when the GOP convention convenes. The demonstrators won't, however, be Republicans. They will just be the usual assortment of professional demonstrators who come to every GOP event. For the Democrats in Philadelphia, however, the demonstrators will be fellow Democrats who will be extremely angry with what their party is doing.
